Do a exercise of squats, lunges, and join a gym to use all the leg machines like quad machines, hamstring machines etc. Also refer to a book called "Weight Training for Dummies" by Neporent and Schlosberg. You can do 2 sets of 20 reps of squats and 2 sets of 20 reps of lunges. If you want to know more about how to do these any good website will give an idea on how to do these. Type "lunges" or "squats" in the search which will take you to hordes of websites.
Your thighs and butt will definitely get more toned and shapey!!!
Good luck!!!

I'm all about cardio and doing weights to strengthen my legs. I also played soccer for 8 years so that definitely helped. But soccer is cardio. I do at least 30 mins of cardio at the gym. And then use circuit trainers to strengthen my legs/thighs/hamstrings/calves. You have to realise that it takes time. I think weight training takes at least 6 weeks to start to see any definition.
Often people want an easy way to do things. It can be hard, tedious work to be in shape which is why people don't often bother. Doing cardio and perhaps some weight training or squats or something at least 3 times a week should take it's toll eventually. Just be patient. :)

do cardio but less of it and more of weights. weights build muscle and tone up. for thighs try squats, lunges, all with 5-7.5 lbs. dumbells/arm: try 20-25 reps/set adn 5 sets or more. for cardio do it for 15-20 but at a higher speed and incline-that works your thighs: the higher the incline the more you will work your calves and thighs on the treadmill. also do reverse crunchesi do 200 of them every time or every other time/day and when you do them it actually helps with your thighs and problem areas. take the stairs, change the way you eat, eat food that is lower in fat: for ex. pick chicken vs. beef since chicken is more lean,do not eat after 7pm, give up things that will go to your thighs: peanut butter-replace it with the reduced kind which you can eat once in a while, make the salads healthier-use fat free dressing. also, desserts are killer so try to indulge in them once in a while. park your car away far so you walk, eat more greens, more fruits, adn drink tons of water.

Cycling and stair climbing are best for thighs as well as a machine called an abductor....uses weights and resistance while you open and close your legs to help tone the inner and outer thigh area

Walk more than you usually do. Run/jog as often as you can.
Massage your thighs to get blood flowing.
Eat healthier - depending on if you want to lose weight, gain muscle etc?
do stair steps, stretch whenever you get free time.
Dancing is one of the best things you can do. even if you are home alone and turn the radio on.
you will be toned in no time.
good luck,
McFly

If you don't have time to work out, when you are at home, try walking on the balls of your feet as if you were in heels but do it on your bare feet. Try it all day for 1 day and you will know it is working because the next day your thighs will be sore.

Do lunges and what I call scissors. You lay on your side and lift your leg, bring it down, but not all the way. Do this about 20 times and change sides.
