See that no area collects water to prevent mud.
Select tress which are not deciduous ( shedding leaves)
Too many plants, makes it difficult to maintain
Have cemented paths in between
Prevent the growth of weeds by weed killers.
Big lawn, limited plants, good selection of plants should keep the garden tidy.

It is very hard to keep it clean. I am out in my garden for about two days out of the weak cleaning it.
