Boss says "stock rupture" but it doesn't sound right to me. But nothing better comes to mind.

Nah, none of your answers is good. The expression must fit the sentence "We are facing a ... ... " so Out of Stock, out-stocked etc. are no good.

I have just always called it what it is: OUT. We are OUT. That says it all. What the heck does "stock rupture" mean? Your boss sounds like a real pip.
