Many community colleges offer after-school and weekend programs for children of all ages. There may be a computer course that is suitable for your child. You may also want to check out the local Y.M.C.A. and even the public library.

Go to EBay.
Buy him a Commodore 64 and 1541 disk drive.
Buy the book "Kids and the Commodore 64" also on EBay.
Go through the book with him to start.

I know this might sound crazy, but if he is good at computers than I would try putting him in a college class. I do not think their is an age requirement. Good luck.

Try your community education resource.. adult school.. or something like that... maybe you'll have to enlist a older student to make up something..
