I think that the Spanish officials have good intentions, but I also think that the fashion designers should be allowed to choose any models they want.

GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am 5'8" and for most of my life I weighed 120 pounds and though that I was the skinnest person in the world and I hated it. Now @ 23 I weigh 129 pounds(gaining that 9 pounds was sooo hard) and wear a size 2 sometimes 4 but I think I look fantastic right now and I am loving it. At least now I ain't shaped like a 12 year old male vegetarian. lol.

I'd tend to think it's a good move. It's not a good thing for young girls to look at these super skinny stars, and think that is an attainable standard. It just bugs me that the Spanish government decided to ban. If it was an industry decision, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but that much government control in the lives of people...well, it's certainly a bad thing.

I think it is a great idea. There is such a push for women to be thin. The body image protrayed by models is unrealistic and usually unhealthy. Besides, who says thin equal beautiful. I love my curves. I feel like woman.

It's about time!!!! These women are role models for children that may not have good role models in their lives and we have to be responsible in the way we portray ourselves.
It's gotten so bad that these women who have these so called perfect bodies are even being airbrushed to look even more prefect.

It is a great idea, seeing super skinny models is just bad for these pre teen girls who think they have to look like that, when in fact real women have curves. Curves are more fun, and they look better in clothes, our curves gives us shape.

I think it's good. I heard the models need to have a BMI of at least 18.5

I like it. Dresses look much better on a curvy body anyway in my opinion. They are meant to be worn by women and not boys.
