www.companions2travel.co.uk find a travel buddy - second time mentioned this site it's a good one! (No I don't work for them!)
But.... I managed two holidays alone last year both under £150.00 booked last minute with someone from teletext holidays website I do believe (Can't recall exactly who). if you make a few calls and always tell them you've seen something cheaper - play them off against one another and you'll find something (both hols I did were with Olympic holidays last year and booking direct with them it seemed to cost more than what I got the hols for in the end) Thing is be flexible! I even managed to book a holiday and leave five hours later one time - that wasn't the best deal ever but a nice holiday none the less! Have always found it better to talk to someone on the phone than book on line but could be wrong - Last-minute have what look like reasonable deals not checked 'em out in detail tho. Happy holidays!!

Belize is pretty cheap. It's very nice, too. My husband and I went there for ten days and stayed in a nice hotel, went snokeling, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, cave tubing, went to some Mayan ruins and stayed on Ambergris Caye (an island) and stayed inland also. I think that we spent like $5,000 between the two of us for everything. And if you just want to relax, I bet you can get away with spending less than 2 grand.
It's fun too!
But you need your passport.

Get flight only then get yourself a place to stay when you get there.
I know in Marmaris Turkey you can get B&B from as little as 6 pound sterling per night and at this time of year you wont have a problem finding cheap accomadation in Turkey, Spain etc
Good Luck Have a nice Hol

If you are in London you should call or stop by and STA Travel. They have great prices and they can help you find just want you want for the price you have listed. I work for STA Travel in the US and I know that you could do this trip for 500 pounds or so.

Backpackers' hostels. Or finding accommodation on the spot can often be cheaper for a single person. Greece has loads of cheap rooms, which you can't book in advance.

Go camping or a fishing trip to the nearby mountains and springs, or nearby sea. It's always good to travel by car too. check out hitchhikers.com

I am a 36 stone male, you don't mind do you? I mean this wasn't just a blatant attempt at trying to find a bird was it? ;)
