I think the first thing ever "made" in the human sense was a stick. It could be used as a primitive spear, a primitive digging tool and when combined with other stuff could create fire.
But thinking about about maybe the first thing was a rock as a weapon!

By a person?
Universe was first thing to "appear".
I suppose a stick tool was the 1st thing "made" on earth. Maybe some aliens made a tool long before humans did.

As far as the start of the universe goes that would be energy!
Then in order, photons, quarks, electron, protons, neutrons, hydrogen deuterium, helium lithium.
The first man made object - a club - we can already see that other animals use clubs as a tool (IE the otter).

If you mean made in the sense of a totally new thing, as opposed to giving naturally occuring objects a new function, ie stick/rock equals weapon, I would have to say.....um
fire?
