Do you think that it is weird for a 13 year old to still watch cartoons? I mean, not the baby cartoons, but like, bugs bunny and flintstones and stuff. Is it weird?

Nothing wrong with watching cartoons! I'm 36 and still watch cartoons. Many cartoons contain adult humor and violence that isn't meant for kids.

The old Bugs Bunny cartoons were made for adults. They were shown in movie theaters before the movie. The Flintstones were aired on prime time television in the 1960's, which was for (mainly) an adult audience.

Nothing weird about watching cartoons, no matter how old you are!

Animation has been unjustly labeled as "kid's stuff". The original Looney Tunes were aimed at an adult audience. You'll notice that a lot of the jokes were politically and socially aimed. In other countries, like Japan, animation is intended either for adults or children, depending on subject matter.

But don't worry about what people think. I'm 27 and I forsee watching even the baby cartoons until my teeth fall out. Who cares what other people think?

No, i'm twenty two and I still watch Spiderman, Batman and Justice League. Cartoons rock, you can just sit back and relax - besides you are still a kid, you should be watching cartoons. If other kids want to think they're all grown up at that age and waste their freedom that's their problem.
We all grow up too fast as it is - watch cartoons for as long as you like, watch them when ur 90, it's your life do what you want and don't do what you think you should do, be an individual, they're always way cooler people!

I don't know if someone told you it is weird or what but I am in my forties and I still love some of the classics like you named. I also love Scooby Doo and Tom and Jerry. I don't think there's anything weird at all about you. My seventy three year old mom said tell you to watch what you want, enjoy and don't worry about it. She still watches cartoons. She also knows a man that is very high up in Norfolk Southern Railroad that watches them; too.

Family Guy is a cartoon, so are the Simpsons. I personally love Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, along with all the classics. I'm 37.

Not at all - when I was 13, I think watching cartoons was probably the least weird thing I was into

Not wierd at all! I still watch Kim Possible, Bugs Bunny, Tom and Jerry, and about a million other goofy shows, including Veggietales. It's not any different then people watching stuff like Monty Python and The Holy Grail or anything like that. It's all just goofy stuff that people enjoy watching.

Nope, I'm 27 and well balanced, and I think it's fun to watch some cartoons and I really like watching Sesame Street with or without my daughter. It's very cool that you know what you like, and as you get older, don't lose that sense of fun like most of us girls do when someone thinks we're a little weird.

No it's not. I still love to watch cartoons and I'm 18. The difference is that I now see them from another point of view.
