I'm in a quandary, because I'm quizzing myself on the quintessential "q" word, and quaking and quivering on my keyboard. What a quazy way to kill my free time quotient.
You can quote me.
One weird favorite "q" word is q-o-p-h, a letter of the Hebrew alphabet that comes in handy (legally) in Scrabble.

quinquennially - every five years
This was the winning answer to a Games Magazine contest about 20 years ago that I got. Unfortunately, so did about 300 other people, so I got squat. Also, one of few words with more than one Q.

My favorite word is Quinn, usually with a Mc in front. It's my last name, so I'm really partial to it! :)

Great for Scrabble are some of the Q without U words..
QINTAR, QIVIUT, QIBLA, QOPH, QI
And then the Q with other high value letters..
QUARTZY, QUETZAL, QUACKED
