Go to a charity shop
Buy a mans suit, a womans long dress (as gaudy as you like) and an old wig.
Cut the dress and suit in half and stitch the halves together, put a slit up the side of the dress and wear a stocking on that leg. trim half of the wig into a male style, and make up half your face.
You could use the hair from the wig to stick half a tash and beard on too if you wish.

I just went to a very fancy costume party, It seemed most women were wearing very elaborate masks with feathers ornate hats and the such with very ornate dresses.or gowns. But there was one gal that wore of harem outfit and her boy friend was a shiek. that was very sexy and impressive yet classy.
Not sure how to make it however the gal at the party made hers in some very shiny white &gold cloth

first of all, what is the theme. halloween is just around the corner so now every retail chain store has customs out, go and see what they have and see what you can do by youself, even though sometimes making it yourself, might cost you more than just buying it. also try custume places, some do let you rent out the dress. also go to thrift stops so you can sometimes find a great deal on a dress.

Ah i love fancy dress and make a fool of myself!! I live in Ireland and i dressed up as a pint of guinness i'm v.tall so it looked brill my mam made it with black velvety stuff and a creamy white top and i had a softt laundry basket and a top of a baket on my head and a little hole so i could see then my uncle is an artist so he wrote on it!! It looked brill and i got loads of comments and attention!!!

Get a bin liner, paint a large 'T' on the front and back, make holes for your arms and head. Go as a tea bag.
