The belt should be given to Umaga. We need to make the I.C. Championship what it used to be. Being the I.C. champ used to mean you were marked out as being a future WWE champ. The belt was put on guys that Vince saw one day as being capable of leading the company. Look at the list of names who were I.C. champ and then went on to be not only WWE champion, but also legends in this business... Stone Cold was the I.C. champ, Shawn Michaels, The Rock, to name but a few. The title now is completely meaningless. Can anyone in their wildest dreams see Jonny Nitro or Jeff Hardy as main eventing a PPV WWE Championship match at any time in the future? I'm not saying Umaga is the future of this business or in any way that he will be a legend but Vince clearly sees something in the character. He is undefeated, and whatever lies in his future, it is certainly brighter than that of Chris Masters or Super Crazy. Randy Orton wouldn't be a bad choice. He's been WWE champ before and it's not that much of a stretch to see him being so again at some point. They also need to make the I.C. title more prestigious by not only keeping it on one guy for a long period of time, but while he is the champ, whoever it may be, they need to build him up. Look what they did with Shelton Benjamin when he was I.C. champ. They put him in a stupid gimmick with his mama and made him look ridiculous. When Carlito was champ he was not built up as being a future main-eventer. In this case I think that's a good thing as Carlito is useless in the ring but that's not the point. Now that Jonny Nitro has the belt is he in any more of an elevated position than he was the day he debuted on Raw..... No. Maybe it's a sign of the lack of quality currently on the WWE roster. There isn't enough talent now to have somebody the calibre of an Austin or Rock involved in anything other than the main event picture, which sadly the I.C. title is now no part of. There are only 4 guys who currently have real star power in the whole company - Edge, Cena, Shawn Michaels, Triple H. I would like to add Chris Benoit to that list but he has been buried for so long now it no longer applies to him.

not nitro. crazy isn't there yet. orton needs to lay off the drugs first. carlito would be very cool, he's a decnt competitor. shelton benjamin is hands down the best athlete, and definitely deserves another shot! and hardy...he could really use the boost and it would definitely be something to see. i would like to see him succeed as an indivdual wrestler and not as the hardy boyz or team xtreme...that could come back later, but let him develop more as an individual!

I want the belt on Orton, but with the failed drug test that ain't going to happen. He is so under punishment right now. Win at Unforgiven to be canceled the very next night by getting pinned makes it so freaking obvious. Carlito should get the belt again. He is a performer in the ring and I love watching his cool ring moves. The hair is even growing on me.

The wrestlers who are deserving of this title are Rob Conway, Jeff Hardy, or Shelton Benjamin. Nitro and Melina can take their Hollywood wannabe celebrities and shove it up their *****.

I would love to see Hardy get it. I am so glad to see him back in action. I would not be to upset to see Carlito get it either.
