We all don't it's according to how dark or light it is wher eyou live.
In some areas people work until 5;30 so as to not be out so early in the morning because of the darkness.
Sopmetimes the ..school children decide when as they mus tbe as close as possibe oput during day light hours.
Here work times varies from &am until 3 pm(8 hours) or as with most government jobs from 8 am until 4 or 4;30 pm.
I work on a rotating factor nights and days.(7am to 5 pm)with 3 day or 4 day periods of 10 hrs each. and (5 pm to 5 am) night period of 12 hrs each. 3 or 4 days. This let sus share the night time better as there ar eonly a fe wof us in that department. it also gives us a lot of time off.during the month in day light hours.
Basuically i thas to do with how much daylight hours available in each part of the country. also how many employees and how many shifts if any. and what kind of service, or product you handle or the tuype of job.

Because most of us cant get out of bed to start at 8am and finish at 4pm.So if were lucky we start at 9.30am and finish at 5.30pm simple as that..

depends where you work and when you start i guess. i start at 8.30 and finish at 4.45
