I leave the TV on for my dog and cat so they're not lonely when I'm gone.

When I was pretty young, in the '50s and early '60s, where we lived still had "party line" phone service. A party line meant that 6 or 7 households shared the same line so it was like each home had an extension to everybody Else's. When you wanted to make a call, it was necessary that you first listen to see if someone was already on the line or you got a dial tone. That's a habit I've never broken, I still listen to make sure the phone is free. Cell phones, with no dial tone, drive me nuts.

I have a lot of habits, none of which are strange to me. Surprisingly other folks don't think so

All my habits are strange, everything about me is strange....I myself am 'strange and unusual' - wow Beetlejuice, I just impressed myself with that thought!
