There is no substitute for soap and water. You also might want to eliminate garbage and foodstuffs that attract the flies in the first place. It would also be a good idea to make sure that all of your window and door screens are in good repair.
Good luck with your problem.

You have to be scrupulously clean. They are interested in organic waste so that's probably your bins, your food or your pet's food.
Make sure dirty dishes get washed up straight away or go straight in the dishwasher. Don't leave uneaten food lying around.
If you have a pet, keep your pet's food bowl clean and change it regularly. If you are out all day, leave your pet with dry biscuit type food. Only give meaty food when you get home so you can clean the bowl when your pet has finished with it.
Make sure food waste goes in an outside compost bin or if you can't do that, empty your kitchen bin regularly - ie take out the bin liner - and clean the bin itself at least once a month, with washing up liquid and hot water.
Sweep or vaccuum your kitchen floor daily - and wipe it down once week.
Good luck!
