i opened todays chinese news paper and on the from page appears my picture in front of a beer dispensing boot i did not endorse it gave permission anyone know the legalities here in china concerning posting a picture without your knowledge .

i simply stopped to see what was sold suddenly a photographer started taking pictures asked me where i was from ; today its in the front page with the headline our beer is great even americans come to sample it ys there were sample available but i declines it would appreciate any imput

sorry my keyboard is acting up the picture was taken of me was in front of the beer booth i have not copyrightrighted my picture for any commercials

I can understand your frustration. But in dealing with a foreign newspaper, it'll be a battle you can't win.

whats a from page and if its front then you don't open the paper
have you registered your pictures as copyright and where did they get the picture. check with your local paper as to the the copyright the photographer will know
