How to extract magnesium from magnesium sulfate? (magnesium salt) Now if your not telling me how it can be extracted in this way or an easier way to extract it at home from something else...then plz dont bother answering thank you.

im guessing electrolysis of the molten magnesium sulphate( prob hard to do at home) or dissolve it in a suitable solvent. thats all i got to say.

You need a sorter that many companies use called a Devoralizer. It's primary use is to extract magnesium from magnesium sulfate. You will find this machine in use in many North Eastern mines. It is easy to operate and relatively inexpensive. You can also rent this machine from mining companys for a fee.

Magnesium sulfate?...Hmm...maybe if you react it with an acid you should some kind of salt...but then you have to split it from the salt, so you're still in the same boat.
