Were you on or off the clock? If you were off the clock (on your way home or just getting to work) then you can't apply for worker's compensation. You may be able to sue if the parking lot is unsafe, but that would not work well if you intend to keep working there.

If you were on the clock, you need to report the accident to your supervisor immediately and fill out all paperwork. Are you injured? If so, you need to see a doctor as soon as possible. The longer you wait to report the accident or to see a doctor, the more it looks like you are making up the accident. Were there witnesses? If so, get their names and phone numbers. If worker's comp refuses to pay, it might be necessary to have witnesses that saw the accident. Depending on the severity of your injuries, worker's comp might just pay for one doctor's visit, or they might pay for the doctor's visits, time off work, physical therapy, etc.
If you are not injured, then you don't need to apply for worker's comp. You still need to report the accident to your superiors, though, just in case you wake up in the morning with pain or something.
Hope this helps!

Firstly, you need to report it to your manager and get a copy of that report. (Please do this ASAP it is never too late).

Secondly, you need to go to the doctor to see if you and your baby are doing okay, and the doctor will also document what happened. (If you have no insurance the person that owns the parking lots needs to pay for it, the attorney can help you with all that)

Thirdly, you need to call an attorney because maybe there is no injury today, but maybe in a week or two there will be injury. To speak to an attorney is FREE and it can be done over the phone. If he takes your case he will ask her 20% to 40% of the pay off, just shop around. Most attorney does not charge any fees, but they take a large percentage out of the settlement. (A co-worker of mine fell while she was pregnant is a store and she paid for a home is Southern California cash after paying the attorney and doctors)

Wishing you and yours the very best.

I would definitely fill out an accident report, go to a Dr and file for workers comp. You need to speak to your HR department right away...don't let this go. You may encounter physical problems in the future and you will be taken care of under workers comp. It may also be smart to contact a lawyer to get some advise. Most of them will talk to you for free the first time and many take cases without charging you unless you win your case. Good luck and take care of yourself by protecting yourself.

Apply for workers compensation. And contact a lawyer, you might be able to sue the company if the conditions were not safe and caused you to fall. Good Luck ! :)

You need to get yourself examined by the doctor and he will comply a report for the company which should be send to the insurance section and/or Medicare Section if you have it. From the report they will analyse how much compensation you are worthy.

Ciao

You need to consult your insurance and your company/local public health authority.Incapacitating injuries, permanent or temporary are covered by most medical insurance policies.
Workmen compensation....they need proof that your fall was occupational(ie sustained when doing an official assignment)

you dont apply for workers comp. because you did not injure yourself. you have to ask to go on "maternity leave" which means you have are pregnant and need to stay at home cause you cant work in your condition. you will still get paid a little amount.

You need to get your company to report the incident on their OSHA log and get to a doctor. You may need legal assistanc eto see if this is covered by WC. What were the circumstances of your fall? How would it be the fault of the company? Please get to a doctor.
