If you are a 45 year man, and you fall in love with a 20-something, you must be a sex-offender, a pervert, or there must be somethings seriously wrong with you...not all 45 year old men are bald, fat, or need viagra. Some even weigh the same as when they were 18...

And what of the "desperate" woman aged 35-50...maybe we can make a show about this, and make IT socially "acceptable". I mean, we need to protect our young men from woman like this, don't we??

Not sure what you mean. It's actually the other way around. It is more acceptable for older men to have a 20 something piece of eye candy hanging on their arm than it is for a 30 something woman to have a "boy toy". Look at George Burns or Hugh Hefner. I know this for a fact having had several older girlfriends when I was a young pup.

It's actually a very cruel trick of mother nature to make women sexually peak in their 30's but be more attractive to the opposite sex in their late teens and vice versa for men. It was sort of a way of ensuring reproduction.

I've known a coach in my highschool who was caught with a cheerleader and was only fired! I knew one female teacher I who did something like that with one of her High School football players got 7 years in jail, was forbidden to see her children ever again, had to wear an ankle tracking bracelett and had to register as a sex offender wherever she went for the rest of her life (same age differences in both cases).

Anyone that has reached age 45 and thinks that it's ok to get romantically involved with a 20-something has got something wrong with them--male or female.

Perhaps not so much if we are talking about a 29 year old, but I suspect you are talking about someone really young, 20 or 21.

There are too many reasons why this is unworkable. A person that young has not fully developed their personality and POVs yet. Young people at that age are still figuring out who they are, what they want to do with their lives and still have a lot of maturing to do.

Someone twice their age will not have same cultural history and will not be able to relate on a lot of important levels. Also, someone at that age going after a kid is probably going to have either insecurities about their own age, or controlling tendencies. Fact is, it's a lot easier to manipulate a younger, less experienced person than it is a fully grown adult. The only other reason I can think that an older person would "love" a younger person would be that the older person is just terribly, terribly immature.

It's a bad idea, regardless of the genders of the two parties.

Think that you have it a little wrong..... Nothing wrong with a 45 year old man and a 20 something woman.... He is a pervert and a sex offender if she is under 18. There is also nothing wrong with older women and younger guys. Look at Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher...I don't see the double standard here. I think both are acceptable.......

Yeah, I love it. This is just about the only double-standard that favors women!

Cougars are cool, so start liking it.
