Is anybody using them? I don't like the idea of leaving detergent ball for rinse cycle. Does it really work that good?

I started using them, and they work great, but as you know they are both expensive and you can't use them with bleach on your whites. THAT SUCKS!

I ended up spending twice as much money using that only for colored loads and then detergent and bleach on my towels and whites. WHICH I REFUSE NOT TO DO... For any product or reason. Nothing beats bleach for clean!

So... anyway, I used my last one until it was gone and then I quit. If I have to use detergent anyway I may as well just keep buying it, and nothing else. I have also noticed that it doesn't remove set in stains as it promised to so... If I have to spot clean too, why bother?

And remember to use that little fabric sleeve thingy because you only get half the load capacity if you forget to use it, the ball disintegrates twice as fast without it.

It doesn't hurt anything leaving it in the rinse cycle... it is just oxygenated detergent and doesn't hurt anything.

Oxyclean in the powder form is a fantastic product. I even use it in my carpet steamer as it is a lot more gentle than a lot of the products you buy to use, and does an excellent job. I do not think that I will be trying the detergent product though, and don't think that I like the idea of leaving the detergent ball sitting in the machine load after load. It seems to be really expensive, and how about if you are washing something that you want to adjust the amount of detergent, extra dirty, oily whatever. I would not know what to use if the powder was taken off of the market....

im all for oxy clean, but no, i think that ball is a load of crap and that guy just wanted more money... I really logically dont see why he made it. Save you rmoney and just buy the powder stuff to put in with your tide, or whatevr you use.
