i've heard the phraze "torrent sharing" and want to know what it means, and why i would need it.

Hello? i mean in muzique terms. i mean i heard the phraze "sharing torrents" somewhere and i'd like to know how i can use it.

What you are referring to is "Bittorrent", where files can be share simultaneously among bittorrent users, where files are broken up into "packages" so that you can download from a number of users, and also provide the file for upload to other users.
For example, if you want to download, say, a file that is 500 mb, but you can't download it in a day, bittorrent allows you to download it bit by bit, from another user that has the file for upload.
While you are downloading that file from a user ( known as the seeder, since he provides the file for download ), you can also choose to be a seeder by allowing a certain upload rate, so that other bittorrent users can download that same file from you.
After you have finished downloading that file, you can choose to leave the file in the bittorrent file manager for upload, so as to let other people download the file. This works on a take and give basis of the online community.
Bittorent, "Torrent sharing" is good for getting large files above 100mb which are not easily available for download from sites.

Torrent is nothing but a large amount of water that is moving very very fast.This word is related to torrential Rains which mean very heavy rain.
