I assume you mean the hit that drives in the game-winning run, which makes this question impossible to answer. For a time, baseball did record a "game winning RBI" statistic, but they got rid of it because it was actually pretty meaningless.
If you're talking about walk-off hits, then Frank Robinson is tops all-time with 26. The caveat here is that only games from 1957 onwards were included, likely due to lack of play-by-play for games before that season. This list shows Ortiz at 10, but I believe he's up to 15 if you include his performance this season.

The first answer is accurate in that game winning hits is a relatively new stat within the past 20 years.
For the 2006 baseball season, Albert Pujols has the most game winning hits with 22. David "Big Papi" Ortiz has the most home run game winning hits, however, Pujols is only behind by one. Also, Ryan Howard has produced several game winning hits this year.
I don't know exactly where to find career game winning hits. I only know of the current information from following baseball this year.

this is a very good question. unfortunately it can't really be answered. the stat of game winning hit was not recorded or kept until about the last 20 to 30 years. before that it wasn't made note of. you probably can find the answer for the era since stat has been kept. Sorry I don't know that answer.

Ichiro Suzuki. This guy has 200+hits in 6 straight seasons, nobody in Baseball history has done this. This guy is a Baseball GOD!!!!!
