We wouldn't. Just as we didn't benefit from Clinton's impeachment. It will make us look like a laughing stock to the world, and it will put Dick Cheney in power. I don't know if the libs really want that. They just want Bush to look bad. But it isn't worth it.

I assume you mean impeachment and conviction?

If it is just his impeachment, we will benefit nothing. If it is conviction and impeachment, American democracy will be hurt because you will have a sitting President impeached who did not violate any laws, and is impeached and convicted for political reasons alone.

If you truly believe the behavior of Bush is illegal, then Clinton should also be in jail for his similar actions against Iraq and also his actions in Bosnia, as well as the instilation of Echelon, the attack against Waco, and the bombing of the Chineese Embasy in the Baltics.

Because we are a nation of laws. If we don't apply the law to him then we are exactly like him. It doesn't matter if Cheney becomes Pres. If he breaks the law he should be impeached too.

The law says they are innocent until proven guilty.

We might get back a little respect from the rest of the world who now hate Americans believing that we agree with him. But then who do we have? Cheney? Can we get him to take the fall with him for his involvement in Iraq & Enron?

We would benefit from punishing a tirant for his crimes against humanity. The world would benefit from such action.

We would know that once and for all that corruption and crime does not pay. That there IS justice in this world. That's its OK to believe that fairness pays off. That people can and will be held responsible for their actions.
