Absolutely.... I wish I could give you ten points for just asking that very important question...

The UN is nearly 100% corrupt.... it is of little use.... it has created more problems than it has solved..... actually, it has solved NONE.

It is a socialist/communist organization and the money it reaps from the USA is just another part of the heavy income taxation the left wants to use to control and burden all people.

Can you imagine what a scummy world we would have if the UN had all the weapons, and civilians had none.... VERY OPPRESSIVE.

The USA owes the corrupt UN NOTHING.... the USA has contributed more to that corrupt bastion of socialism than any other country on Earth.... the UN has contributed NOTHING to the USA except deceit and corruption, along with a lot of spies.

YES! It was a great concept at first but now it's a farce. Corrupt and limpwristed. As to the question of our so called "back-dues", as if the UN was some sort of country club, every nation on the planet owes the US in some way or another monetarily (except Finland, I believe). We've handed out more loans, grants and other foreign aid, not to mention bribes, than any other nation ever.

The UN is a corrupt, expensive, do-nothing organization that is only capable of producing hot air. Nobody takes them seriously when they hand out resolutions and they've certainly fallen short of their charter, that being to find diplomatic solutions to war.

I say, get them out of the US in the very least. Either that or start charging them rent and utilities while they're here.

The UN was the international Law that the US wanted everybody to follow, how come the UN becomes an impediment now unless we are heading the wrong way?

i believe that the United States owes the largest amount of back dues to the United Nations at this time. So, i don't know how that computes as being a sugar daddy.

The US doesn't need to withdraw, how else can we keep tabs on these nut cases, but I do believe we need to move the headquarters out of the US. Switzerland maybe, they are a neutral country.

Why? The US is one of the founding nations, we host the headquarters, we contribute a large portion of financial and military support. We have a role in the U.N. that we shouldn't just walk away from.

One is sorely tempted to do so. But I think that the UN is not quite useless -- just almost.

If the UN doesn't commit to some serious reform I think we should stop payment to them.
