No but I remember the year they cancelled it.. .Mother's were putting the kids on the school bus in the dark...It was not a good idea and they never repeated it.

You're right that it's ironic that DST ends before Halloween. But an extra hour is always good to have, whether in college/school or work.

I hate Winter and I wish they would leave the clocks alone. It gets dark early enough in Winter without adding to the misery. It's time that we in the UK came into line with other European countries.
