Maybe not...but if I were *raised* by gays, I probably would have been less abused, emotionally, physically and mentally. I had a horried childhood....I would have cherished an upbringing with two people who CHOSE to love and care for me, not feel like I was a mistake and should never have been born. So having a woman and a man raise children isn't always the answer either...hence all of us f*cked up people!!! Just because women & men can have children doesn't necessarily mean they should RAISE children.

I don't understand the question. I support gay marriages, and I don't see a relation between my parents being or not being gay and the issue at hand. Yes, if my parents were gay, they would not have kids. Then, by the same token, one could ask where would I be if my parents only chose to have one child, or none at all. Would it follow that having 10 kids would have to be mandatory? 20 kids? So everyone could have a shot at life? Should we outlaw birth control? I mean, c'mon. Personally, I would not cry if I hadn't been born at all, would be much less trouble for me.
In other words, if you're trying to come up with an argument against gay marriage - try again.

Right here. Not EVERYONE is gay you know. And besides, gay marriage is for gays that are already in commited relationships. Marriage isn't taking straight people and making them gay.

Your question implies that all parents have children. But playing along with your inquiry, if it meant I wouldn't exist just so two same-sex people can enjoy a lifetime of commitment, terrific. I'd wind up in the mix, somewhere, sometime. Maybe wind up adopted by a same-sex couple, even. I know one who have six adopted kids, and they're GREAT parents.

huuuummmm.. Interesting question, but with some false assumptions.
1. You're assuming that everyone's parents are or were married. Lots of children born out of wedlock to single parents...might be better off with a complete set of parents - even if they are single sexed.
2. You're assuming that all of us are with our biological parents. Lots of children are the product of adoption. Again...maybe a lot better off in life if they have a complete set of parents - even if they are single-sexed, rather than growing up in foster homes or part of the system.
So ... where would you be if you thought about your questions before posting them?

That's a ridiculous question. Where would you be if your parents never met? Where would you be if one of your parents were born into a completely different culture? I could go on and on but I think(hope)you get the point.

Married or not wouldn't make a difference. Why does it matter if they're married or living together gay, who really cares.
