My hubby and I have been doing this for years, but I have recently found out that not many other people do this. They say there is no mystery left between us, but if we are married, should there be any mystery between us? I just thought I would throw this question to the masses and see what comes out!!!!

When my hubby and I moved house last year, we didn't have a bathroom door. My mum suggested putting a curtain up in the mean time, but we never got round to it. It wasn't a problem, cos we always went in front of eachother anyway. Now we have a door, but we don't bother closing it!!!!

I do, but I draw the line at doing a no. 2 whilst he is in the bathroom lol! (he doesnt ha ha), I think that this only comes when you are comfortable enough with that person that you can do this-as most people who are new to each other(or just have too much pride) want their other half to think they smeel like roses all the time! Well, we dont and I dont see why our partners would love us any less for knowing that we go to the toilet, even though some people would try to make their partners believe they dont. You have found the right man hun ha ha xxx

It seems daft to not go to the toilet in front of each other when you've been intimate in other ways but I always had a problem with this and only after about a year did I relax enough...but only for a quick wee, nothing else and only if I was bursting and he was in the bath lol. As for mystery between a couple, there are certain things he doesn't need to see/know about but I'm thinking along the lines of waxing/picking fluff out of belly buttons, that sort of thing!

Actually, yes I am too shy. I kind of feel that it's something to do with maintaining a bit of - well, not mystery as such, but modesty. I know we are all people and we all function, physiologically, in pretty much the same way, but my background and upbringing still leaves me feeling not ok with that one.
That being said however, he pees in front of me all the time, and thinks nothing of it. I am not prudish in any sense - we have "dared" with this sort of stuff as a turn-on. It felt naughty and giggly. For that reason, if for no other, it's worth keeping some things back!
If you meant anything other than peeing, inclined though I am never to say "never", I feel that's a boundary too far for me personally, but whatever rocks your boat!

When you say toilet do u mean a number 1 or number 2?
I have been with my bf for neally 9 years an would NEVER do a number 2 in front of him but if its just number 1 then theres no probs with that!

nothing to do with being shy, its a matter of respect (for myself) lol

My hubby and I do. But we do some things in private. I mean I don't really want him around when I am doing certain parts of my business and I wouldn't want to be in there with him. But when it comes to #1 we have no problem doing that in front of each other.

Nope, we aren't too shy....I do understand where people are coming from when they say it takes away the mystery, but once your together for several years that will disappear regardless. Sooner or later you see your partner at their worst so why worry about it.

My girlfriand and I have no issues in going to the lav in front of each other, after all in most relationships people taste each others bodily fluid in one way or another which can be classed as worse than seeing someone deposit their waste. I deposit my own fluids in all my fiances holes as I am sure a lot of you do which surely must be worse than her watching me on the throne?

I find it quite intriguing that you would pose such a question.Surely the toilet's doors are supposed to be closed no matter how intimate you may be with your partner.
It seems as this habit turns you on, but one day you may end up embarrassed . I think you should lock up and allow privacy to take root.
