I want to get myself a new hobbie but im not really sure what, any ideas would be great thx

try scrapbooking, it is fun and creative and somewhat addicting.
oh, and enter scrapbooking basics into ur search engine and that should give u sites for basic scrapbooking

Paper crafting is cheap to start and if you end up not liking it,the investment was minimal. Paper crafting includes making greeting cards, origami, paper mache sculpting, kite making, collage work , and other things. There are dozens of books at the book and craft stores on the subject. Go and leaf through them to see if any of the projects spark your creative urge. Another fun and exciting art/craft is jewelry making. You can learn the basics from any number of books and magazines devoted to the art and by practicing with inexpensive materials until you become proficient you won't be as reluctant to be wildly creative and innovative. Visit a large bookstore ( or go to Barnes and Noble's website ) and browse through the craft and hobby section and there should be something that really jumps out at you.

Have you tried embroidery...it is fun, cheap and easy to learn.. You can embellish just about anything with embroidery...to get ;you started here is a lot of free patterns to download....I just started and I love it..

some of my hobbies are scrapbooking, photography, cross-stitching.

metal detecting is just the best , I took it up three years ago and have made some spectaular finds , great friends and had a lot of fun , it is real peaceful ................good luck
