I was 22. I was mature as I'm gonna be. I knew all her family. I don't have much of a Family for her to know, I don't even know most of them. We both have JOBS, whether they are both good or not is irrelevant to me. I did nothing for the past 3 years but Love her, so to be like everybody else and start over would be a TOTAL waste of my Gotdam time!! These other mutherfudgecakes keep re-marrying like it's changing clothes. Not too many people shop at the Thrift store.

The first time I was 22. I think I was mature enough but I don't think my 18 year old wife at the time was. The second time I was 32 so I was definitely mature enough then. I think maturity is not always an age issue so much as something about each individual. Some people are very mature at a young age and some people are very mature still at a much older age.

I was 21 when I got married. I do think I was mature enough, I was ready to get married before then. But you also have to make sure your spouse is ready. I think pre-marital counseling is also a really good idea, it brings a lot of things into light that you may not think of before you get married. My husband was 20 when we got married. I don't think he was mature enough, and he still isn't. marry a man not a boy! you both have to be ready! and oh one more thing...getting married doesn't have to mean completely settling down, it means always have someone there and sharing everything (or supposed to be). If you can read the traditional wedding vows and understand and mean everything, til death do you part, then you're good.

I was 20 when I got married. And yes, I was mature enough. And we're still married. But we were smart enough to wait 4 years before we had our first child. This gave us more than enough time to enjoy each other and mature a bit more before we started a family.

20 and no I was mature enough just not independent enough. I was still in college and lived at home. I had never had my own apartment etc...
After getting married we were alone without children for 3 years but even that wasn't enough time to spend with each other. There are many things we should have done that once we had children were inconvenient. I don't regret marrying him but I do regret when.

I have never been married before. However I think that age doesnt play such a great role here..
If you love the person, know him long enough, trust him, can share household with him, lived together sometime then you surely are ready to marry.
Some people are not mature enough even when they are 40..
Its your life so listen to your heart.

I was 24. I think that I was mature enough but I think that having my son when I was 23 helped with my maturity. I think I would have waited until I was 25 had I not had my son.

i was 22 i belive. i don't think i was mature enough. But i love him and he loves me. I was not finacially ready and i had a son from a long term relationship i was still dealing with that mess. I also feel i missed out on alot, i grew up to fast i belive and now i miss that dearly. I wish i would have waited until my life was competely fixed and i was not in debt already. But here we are 10 years later still making it work and love eachother very much. We make it work, yes, we have are agruments but it would not be a marriage if we didn't.

i was 26 when i got married, and yes i think i was mature enough, however before that age i was totally not even though i had all 3 of my children by my husband and we lived to gather for 9 years before we accually got married, it was my choice to wait till i was ready, wrong or right thats the way it was.
