FYI There is no such thing as Windows 2006.
Open start then all programs and select either Word or Notepad depending on your operating system and start writing.
Make sure you save the document in My Documents when finished (Windows will prompt you to do this.)

You need a word processor. In windows (2006? = vista) you can use notepad (although it is a real pain to do so) or WordPad both are located in Start -> All programs -> Accesories. You can try some features in Internet also (like this site called writely).

You may use Microsoft Word or Notepad for that matter. Letter-writing is easier to do with the use of either of these two programs. And when you want to highlight some features of your letter, click on View, Toolbars, and Customize respectively and choose all the features there that you can use while making your letter.

If you have Microsoft word or word perfect open it up and start typing when you are done print ti out and mail it. If not use notepad, it is kind of boring because you can't change the font or the color.

first get your mommy to turn on the magic computer box for you, then have her set it all up for you, get you to the right window and such. Then you can bang away at the keys until snack or nap time. Enjoy yourself, you won't be 3 forever you know.
