I see more questions about mexicans and aliens, and I want to know why people are so obssesed with them. They don't bother me. I actually like them better than some american people. You can learn from them. So what if they only speak spanish!

I agree. Mexicans are pretty cool people if you give them a chance. I'm tired of people assuming that when they see a mexican that they are automatically illegal. That's such Crap. That's why I'm to learning Spanish so I can piss off more people off as possible. lol I work with a mexican girl and she is very much legal. So to all you haters out here, don't assume you know someone, cause you don't.

The problem with them only speaking spanish is that, when they get to America they are at a huge disadvantage, I have no problem with immigrants, as long as 1. they come her legally and 2. they learn to speak english, learning to speak english will not only help them get a better job, and live a better life it will help the people around them, and they will have less derogatory comments made about them.
I do however resent the immigrants that are arrogant towards people who only speak english.
We seriously need to adress this issue, with a less racial, and negative view. If it wasn't for the mexicans, alot of our hard labor jobs would be left empty, because most americans have been brought up in a cultural were there told there simply wonderfull little human beings, and once they get out into the real world, no matter how academical they are, they refuse to work lower jobs, like landscaping, paving streets, and hard labor jobs.

I have to say that I am in agreement with Ms. Fiona M.
They are not all bad. As with any race you have good and bad mexicans, blacks, asians, middle easterners (is that a word? lol)
I am of Hispanic decent and my husband laughs and jokes with me that I am prejudice against my own race. It's not that I am it's just that some of them do take advantage of the systems. It used to be the majority were good but it now seems the bad eggs are leaving a bad taste in the mouths of Americans. It's a debate currently in America that will be hard to resolve. Either redevise laws to protect the hard working or keep them all out. But then it should not only be for Mexicans but other nationalities as well!
Oh by the way, what did you do to piss off the "HEY HOW ARE YOU" guy? LOL He is in need of some attitude adjusting!

Uhm...because the Illegal Alien situation affects me personally? Because they are taking not only the jobs Americans "don't want," but are being hired to do the jobs that Americans DO want - like my brother?
He works construction, and has been making a good living at it. However, it is becoming easier for some housing companies to hire skilled illegals at $10-$14/hour than tradesmen who charge $18-$22/hour, so he's unable to find work at the wages that were prevailing BEFORE illegals began underbidding him.

they are claiming the "stolen" factors of u . s . a . of america - the SouthWest as Mexico yet they are no longer scuffling with there. they like all of u . s . a . of america to be Mexico. kind of like once you plant your flag on a mountain to declare it on your u . s .. comparable kind of deal. little ones indexed under are no longer allowed to demonstrate or positioned on an American flag for worry of frightening the illegals. although, if illegals are instructed to no longer positioned on or demonstrate the Mexican flag its racial profiling. So what if they only speak Spanish? How about So what if they don't have health insurance, and clog our hospitals by having babies and then not paying for them, thus causing OUR medical insurance rates to rise. Or so what if they don't pay income tax. Or, So what if they drive illegally (AND BADLY, to boot). The list goes on and on and on. It's much more involved than speaking Spanish, sweetheart.

Because we are paying their way. We pay their taxes. They come here, get schooled, get paid and don't pay while we all do.
How ever we should take a lesson from them about the pay scales in this country. We are making ourselves unafforable. That's why we outsource. How much do you think that plasma t.v. would cost if we made it here. Yet, we want it, and we'll keep buying.

THEY ARE ILLEGAL. Do you not know what illegal means? Here let me help you, Illegal:not according to or authorized by law. They are the same as any criminal, and should be given nothing but a one way ticket home. Any illegals found crossing the borders should be shot.

The news media is causing the obsession. If they started writing about Irish Catholics then there would be an obsession about that. Just ignore it and eventually it will go away and they will find something else to "sensationalize" on the news media.
