I work in the insurance industry but it is very boring. The pay is good however. I've always been interested in fashion but cannot draw, cosmetology, and medical. Not sure what careers are out there that pays well and schooling is short. Cosmetology seems like fun but the pay is pretty bad at first.

A good option, that doesn't include a lot of schooling (or none, if you can find an apprenticeship) is dog grooming. Pet Smart has an apprenticeship program, and often you can begin working at a small business as a bather and work into grooming. It is very hard work, but often satisfying. Pay at first will stink, but eventually you could make up to 40,000 or 50,000 a year, not too bad. I did it for 10 years, am now back in college for another career, but I think it was a great trade to have for what I needed. The one advice I would give, is to be kind to your body, as it is a very strenuous job.

well, if you're good at sales, you just need an outgoing personality for that and usually job-specific training. Sales has a virtually unlimited salary potential.

But, you have to be open to looooong hours, cold-calling, and deal well with negativity. But, if you think you can do that, then go for it! Many salespeople with pharmaceutical companies and mortgage companies make six figures, easily!

Good luck!
