1-Increased productivity of said married couples not worried about being denigrated in what is supposed to be a "free" country.
2-Fear of hatemongers who have nothing to go on but personal attacks greatly decreased.
3-Increased maturity of population with esay loophole to bash gays closed.
4-Good example to young people that the right to privacy and freedom of religion begets honesty,love,and peace of mind.

Two ways come to mind -- lawsuits and taxes. The contesting of a decedents will by his "loving family" who do not approve of his or her partner receiving what that person had wanted to leave them because of "lifestyle" would be eliminated -- primary beneficiaries are 99% of the time spouses.
Couples would have the option of filing and claiming a "joint" tax bracket, which, dependent upon income level, would either benefit the couple of the government.

equality
we live in a society that prides it self on equality, but be certain people want to be equal we put them down and state that they are not equal because they do not meet some religious definition - not legal but religious.
If we are to believe that we are all truly equal then why can we not all have the same rights and the same freedoms, we all need to be treated the same.
If our children see that we are all equal then maybe they well start to believe this and act upon it and create a truly equal society.

no benefit
The Gays need to be happy with what they got for once and not trying to keep seeking acceptance due to there guilt complex's.
I am tired of the whole gay thing .they gay so go away who cares nowadays other than the gays complaining.
close there mouths for a while would be more benficial.
And the price of closet's would go down.
