Once I found a cassette underwater in the sand over by the beach. I took the cassette home and clean it up and let the tape dry and then I played the cassette. I guess I was hoping there would be some cool message or something.
It started off with a cover song by The Dream Academy called, "Please, Please, Please Let me get what I want"; and then the song "there is a light that never goes out" by The Smiths.
Because of this cassette, I became a fan of The Smiths.

I found a 100.00 bill in the parking lot of a pool hall one time. I reported it and waited for 2 weeks. It was never claimed. I spent it. That is the most expensive thing I have ever found.
The most unusual thing I (my dad) ever found was an old spoon he dug up in the back yard(he was leveling out the yard). It was a real old spoon. It was very large and instead of a solid spoon it was round with wires that coiled from one side to the other. It had about 3 of them going across.
The most interesting thing (my dad) found was a calendar dated in 1927 in our basement when we moved into the house.
My grandfather bought an old house and was pulling up the hardwood floors and found a letter with Ben Franklin's name on it (wrote with the feather ink pens and pictures of our town at least dated back to early 1900's).

I've found a 27" TV and a desktop computer Pentium 3 with printer all-in-one, and dinning table. Also a set of cushions from create and barrell made of duck feather and 3 blinds made of bamboo from Ikea, all brand new.
Guess where???
In the alley behind my department. Believe it or not...
There were many stuff more but I didn't take the un-usefull things for me...

A toddler sitting in the middle of traffic. Her mother left the door open and the little darling wandered out. I sure did cuss that woman out though. Way to be a unfit mother.

In a yard sale, I found a record album of Leonard Nimoy (Mr. Spock of Star Trek) singing. He is a horrible singer, but for $0.25 I couldn't resist.
