is there a way to turn off sound on games? want to listen to music, etc. on the computer but not game sounds?

when u start the game, go to the OPTIONS menu, and adjust the music/sound settings from there!

depending on the game, in the options menu you can turn off music and/or SFX.

There should be a box you can check that says sound. Un check it.
