In a pyramid form of organisation, one has to start at the base level, where you are used as a doormat. At least I started there, don't know about others.

its a thin line between love and hate.
I say that to make my point that emotions as strong as love and hate-when paired so closely for the same person, when they are in your head pulling you in a million directions, when you are that crazy over a person you can lose a sense of WHO you were before that person was in your life.

Yes. He was my best friend and boss for years! I was always doing his work, finding his friends, and taking blaim for anything that went wrong. I pulled my head out of my *** and now I am good!

Yes I sure have, I didn't realize I was doing it until a short time later. I guess it's because they made me feel bad for them and it worked.

Yes.........
A man TRULY in love will become a door-mat if that is the way his lover wants to treat him.
NOT for long...... ....but he will allow it for a little while.
For me it's like a "test".
ANY woman who treats me like a door-mat more than once... or for very long........ shows herself to be what she truly is.
There is an old saying........
"Give her enough rope...... and she'll hang herself "
I give my female friends PLENTY of rope.
THEY can decide what to do with it !!!!!!!

many, many times at work. Not by my boss, but by my "customers" and more often by their family members. Why? Because it's in many ways part of the job description..... (see "Dash's answer) ....probably why we all get burnt out so fast....

yes, and is kind of hard to explain, but I think is because we let some people think they are more important to us than us to them.
