For the same reason white people vote for Republican hiding behind the Republican mask and taking the handout from the Democrats. There are more white people on food stamps and in debt over and above their heads, than black people. How many black person do you know presently that are filing bankruptcy? I am a black person and do vote for Republican party, but because of your arrogance and stupidity me and my household and all my friends will be voting for the Democratic party this time around. I will be e-mailing this to everyone I know, and bet you I know a lot.

Not all black people do vote a straight Democratic ticket. The more educated ones vote Republican, but the likes of Jessie Jackson and those who he lives off of demand the progrms be funded, and if you look at welfare, what race holds the most cards! But you can never say anything otherwise your a racist, it is a lose lose situation! How could anyone in their right mind vote for the likes of Ted Kennedy, a person responsible for the death of a beautiful young girl, but the family money took care of everything, talk about the good old boys, not a big difference. Democrat's have to tax so they can spend and support the progrms that help the ones who will promise to vote for them! Now with that said, after the Bush era, IF and a small word with a lot of meaning, IF the Democrat's can find someone, that is decent, they can win in 2008, will even get my vote! But please not Mrs Clinton, she can't win, find a Clayton Powell, some class act where skin color means nothing, Bamma from Illinois can make it but too young and no experience, don't rush him save him for 2012, and he could be the first black president!

Some are, but some allow the Dems to exploit them as victims, and that's pretty sad. I look at it this way, there are two kinds of black people. You have n1gg3rs, and you have blacks. N1gg3rs are the Al Sharptons, Jesse Jackson, and that gal (the politician that slapped the cop ???), and those of the like, you know, like those that stuck around during hurricane Katrina to rob, and steal, and then some of the dummies died, because of their ignorance? AND THEN you have blacks, such as Alan Keyes, JC Watts, Lynn Swan, Rev.Jesse Lee Peterson... Now, the "n's" want everything handed to them, and will play the race card at every turn, and the blacks work hard to rise above, and earn everything, because of their hard work, and not expect a handout just because they're black. Because the Democrats of today are alot like the Republicans of the old times, much like the way Conservatives have gotten the votes of Rebel Southern Democrats.

The Republican Party has traditionally been the party of the rich. The last convention was made of the who whos of the wealthy. So that Blacks have been Americas' poorest culture, the Democrats have been the party of choice. Oh yes somebody is gonna point out the Mexican culture is poor also, but the question was about Blacks so I won;t get into the differences.

That is a very offensive question. You should be more sensitive... Not all African Americans vote Democrat...and are you talking about hand outs? Oh goodness...I need to stop before I say something ugly...The reason why the majority of African Americans vote for The Democrats is because the Republicans have showed us no reason to vote for them. Democrats hystorically create more and bigger budgets for social services and are less inclined to ask people to accept responsibility for their own misery. Poor people of all races and people living on the public dole usually vote democratic. The democratic party is also considered to be more liberal and more supportive of human rights and civil liberties.
Most, but not all, black people vote democratic.

As a Republican, I am embarrased to have you in my party, it is obvious you have racist tendancies by the way you phrase you question.
The reason is much more complex than i have time to go into in this forum, but Blacks are slowly coming to the Republican party as they learn that the Democrats aren't looking out for their best interests.

I don't have all day to write a paper on the subject, but to sum it up, they have been hoodwinked into thinking the Democrats offer more than the Republicans.
Give a man a fish, he eats for a day.
Teach him to fish and he eats for a lifetime!!
Too many people focus solely on today!
