I do not believe the 80% figure its correct.
Calculation shows the following:
Mass of the universe occupies =83.15448467x10^-79 percent of the volume of the Universe. As you can observe that the volume of mass is infinitessimaly small campared to the overall volume of the Universe.
Hence ; The dark maker cannot exceed 52.35987756 percent of the Geometrical volume of the Universe.

The dark matter is a result of an erroneus calculation of total matter in the unvierse and the estimate of matter present in the universe. When better estimation and calculations arrive then the 80% will eventually vanish

We don't know, that's like asking why is the gravitational constant what is? Why is the electromagnetic spectrum what it is? Why is the universe 14.5 billions years old? Science can't answer why's, only how's where's, when's etc...

It's only incorrect theories that give us this "dark matter". Better theories will make that dark matter suddenly brighten up a bit.

Because that's the way it is. The universe doesn't like you questioning it.

Because current scientific theory is broadly inaccurate, yet too arrogant to accept that fact.
By the way I am a scientist myself.
