To pj (on the bottom):
Don't call me a dimwit when you don't know me and what I'm capable of. And answer a question RIGHT...or don't answer it at all! It's RUN, DRUNK, and RUNG, idiot!

And to DUMBFLY (one of the answers):
You need to go back to school and get you "EDUCATION" the right way.

Run, drunk, and rung. Many people told you the simple past tense rather than the past participle.

Here's your source: http://www.englishpage.com/irregularverbs/irregularverbs.html

And here's a quiz for those of you who need to review the difference between the past tense and the past participle ;-)

lmao, alot of people are calling you a dummy and giving you an answer, but ironically almost every answer is different.

So either: A. there is more than one correct answer or
or: B. the question is harder than it sounds.

Immediately after reading the question I assumed 'past participle' meant 'past tense' as I had never heard of 'past participle' before. Thankfully someone actually posted sources, and I actually learned something.

I'll probably forget it by tomorrow (or 20 min from now), but it was still somewhat interesting.

The past participle in English takes either has, had or have as a helping verb depending on the subject person.

Therefore, "I have/had 'run'. . ."
"I have/had 'drunk'. . ." and
"I have/had 'rung'. . ."

run
drunk
rung

By the way, many people here really have no idea what past participle (some grammarians refer to it also as passive participle) is.
