I believed in the curse and saw several bad calls reversed in the 2004 series v Yankees; it was like watching a miracle. I will always cherish the Red Sox nut-crushing, heart-breaking comeback against the Yankees. They really deserved that.
But Baseball is worse every year. It needs a salary cap BIGTIME. The Yankees are always in the playoffs and have about a 40% chance of winning it all every year. What about KC? Tampa Bay? Why should their fans keep going to the park?
It should be baseball for everybody, not the Yankees against the world. I'm so sick of getting a good player and two years later the damn Yankees buy him out. It's like every team is a stinkin' farm team for the big spenders from the big apple. So I guess we'll all ignore another NY subway series this year.
Football fixed that and is much better to watch! New Orleans may finish above 8-8 this year...exciting!

Ha ha ha. in step with risk! The 2004 and 2007 crimson Sox are enjoying like the Yankees used to. in step with risk as quickly as the curse replaced into broken it replaced into reversed. the only concern is, what do you call the curse on the Yankees? The curse of 2004? The curse of George Steinbrenner? the two way, the crimson Sox merely may well be yet another super dynasty now. it may be some thing to work out. and that i used to be a Yankees fan!! (and could be lower back if the Steinbrenners ever enable bypass.)

The curse is bunk. Ruth didn't have anything to do with the 2004 Red Sox, or the 2006 Red Sox either.

Yes, I believe in the curse and the only reason they did win one is that even the Babe felt bad for Boston and could not take it any more so he lifted the curse for that one year and one year only. I know for a fact that there is NO way they will win in my life time again and I am only 47. P.S. Go NY Yankees!!!!!

definition of a Yankee fan:
1.) balding white conservative with a beer gut screaming for his downtrodden wife to get him a cold one
2.) mouthy *** fan screaming from the stands and throwing bottles or sharp objects at players from opposing teams
3.) benchwarmers for their highschool teams who talked the loudest but never went anywhere in their dreams of glory
4.) cry and complain when George "old windbag" can't buy another world series title with his $3 billion dollar payroll
AND
5.) beats on his kids, plays bumper cars with pedestrians/other drivers, and thinks the world owes him a World Series ring.
Yankee fans need to buy yourself a New York Times and use it as toilet paper for your overhyped, overrated and overpaid team!
paid for by: a loyal Boston Redsox fan tired of hearing Yankee fans whine every year!:)

idk about the curse thing haha it was weird.. im a red sox fan and i dont believe in curses.. but look at all the **** we put up with over the 86 years lol... buckner...bucky &*$@*% Dent! not to mention edgar renteria grounded out to Foulke... renteria's number was 3... THE BABES number!. then schilling hugged kapler and damon at the end of the game there numbers at 1918.. idk lots of coincidences.. but its not a once in a lifetime oppurtunity.. we just need a General manager who will make a damn trade before the deadline !!! yea theo is a genius... but he sucked this year and we're going to let him slide cause he won us a championship and thats BS! MAKE SOME MOVES!

i hate saying this to a girl, but, you know nothing about baseball if you still believe in the curse, its over, done, caput, leave it alone because you don't know anything and you need to learn when to shut your mouth!
