Hi,

I am trying to remember the technical name for a type of question used
in some questionaires or research.

The question is used to check the truthfulness of a user's responses.

It is used by phrasing a question differently that has been asked
previously. If the user answers it the same, you can see that there
can be some trust.

Does anyone know the technical name for this type of question.

Thanks.

I know what you mean, and I used to know this. It's not "trick" or "rhetorical". I'm pretty sure it's something-"check", like "validity-check" or "consistency-check".
