hey dude.
it just so happens that my best friend and I have recently gotten together after knowing each other for 6 years. we worked together and hung out together and we were best friends.
He had a relationship that was going nowhere fast and I was too. we both talked to each other about our feelings and what we wanted and both realised that we were staring at the person we loved. We have always fancied each other but now it's fantastic. we can be lovers and friends. the best of both worlds. what's more is we have seen each other at our best and worst and so there are no horrible suprises!
go for it!!! good luck xx

I haven't but my two best friends had the similar experience. They met at the University and were friends for 5 years or so...Eventually, they realized that there was something more than just a friendship so they decided to try it out. They were also hesitating and worrying whether the relationshiop might spoil their friendship. When they overcame the "fear"...they started dating. They live together now and are together happily for 4-5 years. I think it's a wonderful thing because they had a chance really to get to know each other well. Nothing was spoiled. On contrary, they got something more valuable and precious. Good luck! :)

Hi, I feel in love with my best friend, seven years ago. At the beginning I had been married 4 9yrs. She had a boyfriend and was expecting a baby. When the baby boy was born, her boyfriend acted differently and didnt want mush involvement with her and his son. My marriage had been very voilent and I had suffered 8 miscarrages. I left my husband and moved in with my best friend and the baby, and we became a proper family. Within a few months I filed for divorce on the grounds of domestic volience. As a new family we all moved into a new house and everything was great. In 2003 She told me that she really wanted another baby, a baby that was ours, so to speak and also a brother or sister for "our" little boy. We spoke about in length and we both disided that we would obtain sperm from our little boys father and arifically inseminat the sperm to make her pregnant. On the day of trying this, she became too stressed and was unable to carry this out. She said that the only other way for this to happen was for her to have sex with him untill she became pregnant and than once pregnant have nomore sex with him. I hated this idea, and expressed this emencly to her.
Anyway, It happened and it hurt me so much.
Our baby was born 9 months later, a baby girl, on feb. 04
before her 1st bithday, she had been diagnoised with diesese that ment she would have to stay in hospital, firstly in our local hospital 4 3 weeks, then moved to great ormand street for a further 6 weeks. every single moment of every single day I was beside them. She had to have cemotheraphy and addtional medication. She was finally home in the September 05. In the same month my sister lost her partner to cancer after a 4 yr relationship and became very depressed. We invited her over to talk and chat and basically help her. In October 05 my partner told me that after nearly 7 years of being a proper family, that she wanted us to have a break and needed some time on her own with the kids. I was turfed out with a bag at 2.00am and was told not to phone or text and wait for her to conntact me. Since that day I have been told that the relationship is over, She wont let me see the children and my sister and her are now in a relationship and have moved to Brighton. I can never ever forgive my sister 4 what she has done to me, which caused me to have a nervous breakdown. Be very carefull before u comite to a relationship.

i have. i was going out with this boy , and he introduced me to one of his mates, and when me and the boy i was going out with broke up, his mate kept chatting to me and we became great friends. if i had a problem he would be there for me, and if i needed anything , i knew i could turn to him. Now me and my boyfriend (my bestest m8 in the whole world) have been together for 10 months, and i love him dearly. he is really sweet, kind, caring, honest, trusting. (just absolutely great) :D .
