If it is your first pregnancy, that is totally normal. Around that time is when I started to show with my first child. Remember that pregnancy is 40 weeks....OVER 9.5 months, so you have plenty of time for the baby to grow. He/She is already very well formed right now. Don't worry. Just wait until you feel the baby move for the first time. It is wonderful.

I am 5 months pregnant and i have just started showing in the last week or two. I showed much earlier on all 3 of my previous pregnancies.. but this time i was sooo sick at the start that i reckon i lost a lot of weight and that is why.
But as others have said - every pregnancy is different but if you are feeling extra worried get everything checked out to reassure yourself.
Good luck

Every woman's body is different. Some show at just a couple months, some never do. The average is not until five months, though, so relax. I have a tilted uterus, so with my second son, I wore my regular jeans until two weeks before I had him, because I carried him on my spine instead... LOL. Everyone is different. Your baby is still very tiny, so he or she doesn't need a lot of room yet. Enjoy these moments, when you can still walk fairly normal... LOL. Good luck, and congratulations on the baby!

I didn't start showing until I was around 5 months, with both of my boys. If you carry more weight around your stomach area, you won't show as early. If your checkups show that your tummy is about the right size for your gestation (they should be measuring you), then you're fine. I wouldn't worry about it. Women show at different times. Skinnier women will naturally show a bit earlier.

If you are very slender that could be why, it's normal and you will most likely pop out more around your fifth month. Everyone is different and some people show later than others. Good Luck to you!

You are probably not showing because you are either under stress or overly excited, because of the baby, or you lost weight before you fell pregnant.
My aunt lost 30ib before she fell pregnant and her pregancy didnt show until she hit her 6th month of pregnancy.
Dont worry, the baby wont be harmed or have any side effects, my aunts baby is small and weighed 5.5 but that was just genetics from his fathers side. lol
