some of you may not like this and you may even report me. but if you do that just proves that you imature and heartless.
A really good friend of mine had a baby in june and he has been battling congestive heart failure and a problem with one of the valves in his heart since birth. the doctors were trying to hold off on surgury hoping he would gain some wait and become stronger.
He was rushed back to the hospital about a week ago gasping for air. the doctors say they have to operate or he'll die and he may die during surgery. the also say the don't know how there going to go about with the surgery. he is 3 months old and weighs 9 pounds. his surgery is scheduled for this week could anybody out there who believes in the power of prayer please say one for this baby. if you do not believe then just close the question and go on with your day.

Hello. I hope that the little will be great. They say that our medicine is reaching the all time high, so I believe the boy will be just fine.
I wanted to tell everyone about the story I have received about a month ago.The name of the story was The Smell.
It tells you about a little girl that was born when she 26 weeks. She was so small that she could fit on a palm of your hand. She was fighting for her life, and even the doctors lost all the hope. Thinking that there is a very slight chance that she might survive. All the time however the motherly instincts didn't let go of the woman and she sat by the girls bed, praying and crying every night. As the time passed, the baby started gaining weigh, opening her eyes. After almost 5 months of prayers and worries, the girl was let out of the hospital. Time passed, the girl grew to be a very rambunctious little one. She was 5 years old when her mother was wathcing a baseball game on the stadium. The little girl was on her lap. All of a sudden the girl asked the mother, "Can you smell it?" The mother smelled the air and said, "Yes, the rain is coming and you can smell it in the air." The girl replied, "No, Can you smell Him?" The mother didn't understand the question. She asked again. The girl replied, "That is what he smells like, I remember now, when He was holding me in His arms." The mother started crying realizing that through all of those sleepless nights and long tears. After all those prayers that she though of, Jesus was right there holding her daughter in His arms, and helping her grow to be a beautiful little girl.
My prayer for you will be that I hope through the surgery Jesus would be holding your son real close, and when it is time for Him to let go, He would give you your son safe and sound. healthy and happy. I hope that your and all of our prayers will help you realize that Jesus is always there when it comes to hard times, He will always, hold your hand and when you are in need, He will carry you through.
Good Luck

A friend of mine daughter had the same problem and she is now 14 and just came out of the hospital having another valve in her heart replaced. She had one when she was a baby and after a while you out-grow these valves and they have to be replaced.Hopefully, everything will work out, of course my prayers are with the baby and the Mom and also you... for being such a good friend.

I agree, Every baby deserves a chance to live. They say sometimes the baby is in pain when things like this happen but if the baby ends up living a happy life later then he/she won't remember the pain. Ultimately i think it should be the parents decision to give the baby a chance by surgery or pulling the plug. Until yo are a parent and are put in that position your opinion don't count. (Not talking about you lynn) My prayers are with you hun!

My prayers are definitely with you and your friend and the baby. I hope all works out well for you, what a trying and trivial thing to be going through right now. I will also put you on the prayer list at church. Good luck to you.

I wish you, your friend and that little miracle all the prayers and wishes I can muster. God will be in that operating room with the little one. No matter what happens ultimately he will be in the best hands. I hope and pray everything works out and that little boy has a happy thriving life. Mother of 2.

G-d has a purpose for every event in our lives. We only see a small part of the big picture.
With babies, it is hard to understand why he would let such suffering occur, but he does.
I pray his plan is for this baby to grow into a fine example of his healing power, and one of his miracles.
Good Luck---
With Jesus all things are possible.
