I only have about 20 songs on it and I want to put more on but it won't let me. Does anybody know how.

that would depend on how much space you originally have on your drive (obviously not much if you only have 20 songs). you will probably have to purchase a player with a larger storage capacity.

Ok, I have a 4GB ipod nano and currently I have 400 songs on it, and only half the memory is being used. You need to adjust the settings somewhere in itunes to fix this. Here are some suggestions: A) Check the "Import" tab under settings, and change the format to M4a instead of MP3, B) As said by someone else, make sure the bit-rate isn't set to something outrageous like320 (i use 128kbps), C) Make sure files weren't acidentally saved to the ipod. By default the ipod can be used as sort of a "portable storage device" meaning you can use it's disk space to save other formats of data, this can also be disabled by unchecking the "enable disk use" option once you have your ipod plugged in. Hope this is helpful! Feel free to contact me with further questions.
