We start at home by treating one another the way we want the world to treat the rest of the world. World leaders can talk all they want. For this to happen there must be action. If the world leader is saying "world peace", waging war is the wrong message. Let's hope peace will come.

When more people take responsibility for their global community. It starts with small words and small actions in your local community.
By people making a stand for what is possible. I stand for a world that works, with everyone included. This is not specific to religion or creed, but literally a world that works for everyone.
The world is headed in an interesting direction with a great number of people being pulled towards the ends of a spectrum. Those who see the way the world could be, and the who want to make into what the feel it must be. I think there will be a tipping point, when enough people live and breath an ideal of openess, freedom and acceptance, Global thinking will then shift to creating a world that works for everyone.
Hope this helps you. :)

QUOTE: By removing Bush from office because he has done nothing
Well, he has:
1. Attacked Afghanistan and then left (without finishing the job)
2. Invaided Iraq under false pre-tense, and refuses to acknowldeg that doing so has caused more mid east rift
3. Is considering a military operation in Iran
4. Gave tax cuts to the rich
5. Stopped stem-cell research cause his God thinks that evil
6. Wants to ban same-sex marriage cause his God considers gays evil and inhuman.
7. Used federal resources to stop Terry Schaiv's plug from getting pulled (a GREAT use of my tax dollars)
See, he has done plenty...
BTW, to the asker: world peace is a dream. Unattainable whilst we have ppl with an agenda in office.

In order to make world peace, everyone has to want it, and clearly, in today's world, that is not the case.

World peace can be created by making sure that every person whom we meet should be happy...an unhappy world is there when there is unhappiness among people's lives.

The world will never be at peace right now. Too many regions with too many disagreements. No one will see eye to eye and no one wants to give up autonomy to another country or governing body. So it will never happen.

we should create it first in our homes and then outside and then country and finally the world. I think that I will die before seeing it in the world. what I wish is to die in peace. not more.

It would only be peaceful if everyone loved each other as human beings, it will never happen. We need to always keep trying though.

people seem to need an enemy and they need to fight, as if it is instinctual. now the day wars are fought in sporting events and not on the battle field then maybe there can be peace...that way we can savor our appetite for destruction and competetion.

Nice dream but sorry it is not going to happen until at least three billion of us dissapear at one time. Even then it will be a short time and then fighting starts all over again.
