I work better under pressure because it makes me even more on my toes than I usually am. I enjoy the busyness it makes work exciting.

I'd ask him what is being done to alleviate pressure around here?
Other wise, try giving him an example of when you performed under pressure and performed well.
Ask him to define "working under pressure" scenario for you and his expectations.
This question should be a warning to you, possibly indicating a contentious work environment, possibly caused by the "Manager" asking the question.

I work extremely well under pressure. I do my best work with deadlines and I'm an excellent muti-task employee also detailed oriented so pressure would not hinder my job performance.
