I just got one this last summer on my lower back and I am 40. My 17 year old daughter went with me so I had to act like it did not hurt too bad! It actually hurt like hell-but I love it now Mine has the word "IMAGINE" with angel wings highlighted in lavender on each side. Kind of a tribute to someone ery special who has passed.

I didn't ask if you thought they were trashy I asked if you had one-so glad you got your 2 points for answering. Mine is dedicated to my dad who passed from brain cancer 3+ years ago. The song "I Can Only Imagine" by Mercy Me was my inspiration.
I am actually going to let my daughter get one (small) on her foot. She is a dancer so we are looking for a symbol to use.

Lower Back - Butterfly & Fairy on a Big heart with 3 little hearts floating around them like bubbles. 3-4 little bubbles added to make it look dreamy.. It's really pretty cool. Had it done in Vegas by the "famous" Hart & Huntington Tattoo Company, one of Las Vegas’s hottest tattoo parlors I might add.... It's located inside the Palms Casino Resort. Great Place!

I have 10 . 4 on each of my wrists , with my parents name and a chinese symbol , for my mom it means love and for my dad it means respect. I have 1 on my lower back , an angel w/ my great grandmother name , 1 on my shoulder , a big tinkerbell , 1 on my ankle a little tinkerbell , 1 on my neck chinese symbol for butterfly. 2 on my arms , my name and my sons.. and i am getting 1 more for my lil daughter but not sure what to get .. hey i'mma start a question lol

I have one on my upper left arm....it is a angel with my grandson's name, birth and death dates, and under that is a heart with wings--a banner says Mom, one on my left call two red roses with my son's names and 3 yellow roses with my daughters names....on left inner forearm is a heart a dagger going through it with Pa in a ribbon (I call my father Pa) ---on my right inner arm is a trinity knot with the zodiac signs of my husband and 5 kids completing a circle around it and on my right outside calf is a pixie. they are all do do with my family and very special to me.......I thought along time before them and where to place them. I will never regret one of them

I have my sons' name Casey Jr. on my back, a rose and tribal on my neck, a koi fish ( traditional ) with flowers and waves on my shoulder blade. I have Jack Skelington on my arm. I have death before Disshonor wrapped around my wrist. I have " Cross my heart and hope to die " on my chest. I have butterflies on each of my feet. I have the picture from the book cover " where the wild things are " on my back.. and lots more...

I have a design that I drew on my lower back that wraps all the way around my sides. I also have a small star on my hip. It hurt but it was worth it. I love them. I'm looking into what I want to get next :-)

I have one on the back of my neck and it is my son's name, Damien in a really wicked/original font! I absolutely love it and it really didnt hurt as bad as I always made it out to be. I plan on having many more but I wanted my 1st to be my sons name, its very special to me!

Shamrock on my left shoulder blade....didn't hurt. Kind of stung after awhile but definitly not nearly as bad as everyone told me it was going to be. Can't wait to go back and get more.

around my belly button i have a butterfly and I peirced it to look like the body of the butterfly, i have angel wings on my back, and a hershey kiss by the you know what
