I understand how you feel. I have an undergraduate degree in the business field but I am also in the transition of a career change. I would recommend finding a school with a good Social Work or Human Services curriculum. I think those(social worker, counseling etc.) types of jobs are so very rewarding. I am not sure if you have an undergrad degree or not; if so, you could pursue your MSW(masters in social work), depending on your job or your career path, you might have to become licensed. I think at the end of the day, it will be all worth though...knowing you've helped someone gives a good feeling.
