Can you say "paradise"?

Considering that 99% of all terrorists attacks (bombings, kidnappings, gang rapes, sniper attacks, suicide attacks, etc) are perpetrated by people who worship ALLAH, I'd have to say the number would drop pretty significantly.

This is really a moot point, considering that there are muslims in the world and they aren't going anywhere! But, I suppose hypothetically... it's still a ridiculous question!! It doesn't matter what "they" are called, there are always going to be groups of people on this earth who will fight with each other. Of course all sides always have good reasons for thier actions, and are often more than willing to claim responsibility. Just compare the world and the groups of people in it to my family, for instance. I have 4 children. Pretend each of them is a group. From time to time they fight with each other. They may even say hurtfull, insensitive things about the offending "group". (of course, every parent understands that these are children, they are still learning how to solve thier problems with each other) And every time there is an argument, each side always has it's reason. Whether it is retaliation for a previous injury, or the need to dominate the other group, or the like, there is always a "good" reason in that child's mind for thier actions. What the question should perhaps have been, is "If we all didn't act like children, how fast would the number of wars, contentions, attacks, etc., go down?" If someone takes your spot on the couch, is the best reaction to haul off and whack 'em? or perhaps to ask them nicely to move? And if you are the offender, when asked politely to move, maybe you should! Unfortunately, there is no mom and dad standing close and immediately available to help resolve issues here in this world. I guess God thought that maybe we would all let children in this world be the children and all the adults would act like the adults - setting a good example of love, acceptance and just a lil' bit of COMMOM SENSE.

Sounds like some of yall need to get out more. If there were no Muslims in the world, we would find someone else to pick a fight with. If there were no christians in the world? How fast would the number of wars go down? or the number of bombs be dropped? or the number of slaves be freed?

Then the enemy would be some other group. Tribal psychology controls everyone, some just choose a higher ideal. Having an enemy is basic to human psychology, why do you think people go so nuts for sports? Rabidly and almost fanatically supporting a team of players they don't even know gives them a sense of purpose and belonging. Politics isn't any different.

They would go down to almost nothing. We have had terrorist in the world that have been other than Muslims, but the Radical Islamist seem to set great store by it.

I would suggest the question be reworded to be "If there were no religious fanatics in the world".

In that case the number would be very low.
