OK. I just asked a question about peeing every 3 hrs and being bloated. I am not diabetic because that was one of the tests required for my college. There are no STDs because I am married and he is the only person i have slept with or done anything with. He is in the navy so he has regular health check-ups and STDs in the navy is very frowned upon. I am not pregnant because I am always safe and take an ept once a month to make sure. So what else could it be?

You are eating too much sugar and grains. (grains as in bread, pasta, doughnuts, etc) These things will make you bloat and retain water.

If there are no other symptoms and you've always had to go rather frequently, you may just have a relatively small bladder. Actually, every 3 hours is not all that abnormal; that translates to about 5-6 times a day (unless you also have to go every 3 hours at night), and abnormally frequent urination is usually defined as 8 or more times a day.

However, if this is new, AND you're experiencing bloating that's also new, it sounds like something you might want to discuss with your doctor. It's possible that you could be developing some sort of kidney problem (as that would relate both to how much you have to pee, and how much water is retained in other parts of your body), and if that's the case, you really don't want to mess around with it.

This can be related to a number of things, first of all if you drink a lot of liquids your going to urinate more frequently, so ask yourself if your urine output is about the same as the amount of liquids your taking in? if this is so your body is adjusting your fluids normally, if your urinating more than the amount of fluid your taking in then this is a medical problem to be discussed with your doctor, also you could have fibroid tumors on your uterus which then could be compressing your bladder making it have less capacity than your used to...therefore making you go more often, have your doctor check for that, also it's possible that your not emptying your bladder fully when you go making it fill up twice as fast making it necessary to go to the bathroom more frequently, it's best you discuss this with your doctor he or she will come up with the right answer and help you solve this problem

hey i have had the same problem, i talked to my docotr about it. there are a natural diuertics(what water pills do). My doctor said caffeine can work like one, making you pee alot. so try to cut back on soda and coffee. also you said you r being safe to prevent pregnancy.... are you on birth control. some birth contol pills have diuertics in them too. i know yasmin does. Are you trying to drink more water lately? i know when i started my 8 cups of water regiman, i had to pee alot, and i mean A LOT. but my body got used to it eventually. the only thing else i can say is going every 3 hours is not that bad, but i understand how frustrating it can be. i hope this is helpful
